Ana graduated from the AHT program at NAIT in 1993. She spent her first year working at the research facility at the University of Alberta. Not finding it very fulfilling, she moved to a small animal clinic and has been working as an AHT ever since. She feels very blessed to be working at a job that can hold surprises every day. She lives with two very precocious cats named Shrek and Eugene, whom she hand-raised. She divides her spare time between three children, nine grandchildren, church activities and her new passion, hand drumming, and if there’s any time left reading, sewing, crocheting and crafts.
