Dr. Sophie Adams grew up in Saskatoon and earned her veterinary degree from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she moved to Queensland, Australia, where she completed an internship in emergency medicine and continued working in emergency practice for an additional six months.

After her time abroad, Dr. Adams returned to Canada and settled in Edmonton to be closer to family and friends. She also currently works at an emergency veterinary hospital and also enjoys practicing general veterinary medicine whenever the opportunity arises.

Outside of work, Dr. Adams enjoys spending time outdoors camping, hiking, and running. She also shares her adventures with her energetic one-year-old Labrador Retriever.
